Estee Lauder Edit "The Blackest Liner" Review
I'm still trying out a few of the products from the Estee Lauder Edit line, so stay tuned for more reviews. The eyeliner in the collection is a jumbo liquid eyeliner. It claims to be the blackest liner and last for 12 hours.
I suppose that I will start with what I do agree with... The liner definitely has great staying power. I wore it for over 8 hours with no smudging or fading. The liner is very easily to work with...it glides on smoothly giving an even application in just one swipe.
Now, Estee Lauder stated that this was the blackest black liner...maybe in their collection. Although, there is great pigmentation, this is not the blackest liner that I have tried. (I think Kat Von D still holds the cake on that one). The thick line created from this liner is definitely going to make a statement, but it is not the most dramatic.
The liner retails for 22.00 USD for 0.085 of product, which is more than the typical liquid eyeliner with similar pricing. Overall, it's a decent product, and you get more for the money. I will continue using this product, but I doubt that I will repurchase this product. What's your favorite liquid eyeliner? Stay FABULOUS!

Estee Lauder Edit More Than Brows Review
I have a few reviews coming from the new Estee Lauder Edit line. I thought that the More Than Brows pencil looked promising. Checkout what Estee Lauder says:
I only used the pencil to fill in my brows with the fear of a messy application once the tip wears down on the pencil. Now pricing...you get 0.04 oz of product for 22.00 USD. Now, the pencil/shadow is an interesting concept, but I do not think that it's worth the price. I will mostly continue to use it, but I would not repurchase this product. What do you think about the three in one pencil? Stay FABULOUS!
Get everything you need for eyes in one pencil. More Than Brows fills in brows in a snap, lines your eyes with one stroke, and softly contours lids. With just a few strokes, this power pencil lets you finish off your eye looks. It's a chunky pencil that comes in five shades. I chose the second to darkest shade in 05 Espresso. Upon swatching the pencil, there is a slight shimmer in the product. I purchased the product initially only for my brows, but I was very hesitant to try the product once I saw the shimmer. The pencil is very creamy and applies well. I was not a fan of the grayish cast that the Expresso color left on my brows. To my surprise, I actually liked the slight shimmer on my brows. I think that it would look great in a summer, bronze look.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush Review
Becca Cosmetics recently released a new blush formulation called the shimmering skin perfector luminous blush. It supposed to be a combination of the shimmering skin perfectors and their blush. Six shades were released on Sephora.com. Sephora's spill:
BECCA’s Shimmering Skin Perfector™ Luminous Blush features multi-dimensional, versatile blushes to create a subtle, shimmering flush. Specially designed to flatter all skintones, this collection is inspired by the fan favorite Shimmering Skin Perfector—just the right balance of color and light. Wear them alone for subtle blushed luminosity, or as a blush topper layered on top of your favorite matte blush for an added pop of radiance. The thought of combining two great Becca products intrigued me. I chose dahilia and tigerlily. The shades are very pigmented and smooth and buttery. The color applies a splash of color with a sheen. Women of color may maximize the usage as a blush topper. With summer approaching, these blushes are a great addition to any makeup look, because you are adding color and glow in one product. Summer vacation travel just became easier!
These blushes retail for 34.00 USD for 0.21 oz of product, which is 2.00 more than the Becca mineral blushes. I must admit that the prices are steep, but Becca's quality is amazing. I just wish that there was a little more color intensity to the product. Have you tried the new luminous blushes? Stay FABULOUS!

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour Review
Laura Mercier:
Inspired by Laura Mercier's cult classic Caviar Eye Liner, Caviar Stick Eye Colour comes in a myriad of beautiful shades and in a creamy formula to deliver endless options for a flawless smoky eye. Each convenient eye pencil is long-wearing, transfer-proof, and crease-resistant. The color glides onto lids and blends seameleslly with a rich pigment-payoff.
So, I was able to snag a mini set including six of the caviar sticks. These colour sticks are truly long wearing. I use them as a base and/or all over color and the wear is amazing. The application is smooth and packs a punch. The colour sticks are meant to provide intense color for various smokey eye looks, but the colors are definitely wearable for daytime looks. The sticks come in a mixture of matte and shimmer formulas. My favorite color is aubergine which is a beautiful plum color. I normally wear this alone on the lids.
The caviar sticks retail for 29.00 USD for 0.05 oz of product . You get a decent amount of product for the price. I am not always a fan of Laura Mercier's pricing, but I feel as though this product is worth it. Have you tried the caviar colour sticks? Stay FABULOUS!

Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder Review
So I am a little late with this review for the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder. Many have raved over this setting powder for some time. I have not seen many women of color reviews, so I though that I might snag a travel size during this spring's VIB sale. Check out Sephora' s spill:
Infused with the finest French “cashmere talc,” this non-dusty, non-drying translucent powder sets makeup and creates a flawless finish. A unique light-reflecting ingredient creates a soft-focus appearance that smooths away fine lines and imperfections as it sets your makeup. The translucent shade looks and feels natural on all skintones, and creates a flawless finish. Use it to add a velvety finish to any makeup or for a bit of color and coverage when foundation is not worn.
What attracted me to this powder was that it is a cream color versus the typical white translucent powder. I was still searching for a powder that sets my makeup without adding significant amounts of color. Most white translucent powders can leave a white/gray cast on women of color or cause flashback in photos. Many recommend Laura Mercier because it claims to not cause flashback.
This powder is finely milled and applies smoothly even with the powder puff included in in the travel size box. The first time I used the powder, I set my entire face. I still felt as though I had a white cast on face. After a few minutes, the cast was less noticeable. I did not significant change is photo quality.
I also tried setting under my eyes only. I experienced the same slight white cast, but I felt more comfortable with it under eyes versus my entire face. Once the powder sets, the makeup has a flawless effect.
Am I in love? No. I think that I may have to have the right match for this powder...meaning finding the best product to compliment it. I used it with Urban Decay, Kat Von D, and Nars so far. Because of the great quality of the powder, I will continue trying to work it in my makeup regimen.
You get 1.0 oz for 38.00 USD, which is comparable to other high-end setting powders. Have you tried this? Stay FABULOUS!
